We have a list of Preferred Caterers and Vendors. If you have a caterer you like to work with we can go through an approval process and there is a $250 catering fee. All caterers must be professional caterers – licensed, insured and provide full service.
No. We provide a staging area for your caterer with work tables and trash cans. We do not supply any cooking or cooling equipment.
No. All alcohol must be purchased through Loretto Events. We can provide a package or customized package to suit your needs. Loretto Events also supplies all bartenders and bar staff.
Our packages are designed to bring you less hassle and stress in choosing vendors for your wedding/reception. All of our vendors are ones we have worked with and know their level of service.
Yes, we do not require a Full-Service Wedding Planner but DO require a professional Day-Of-Coordinator and offer Coordination Packages
No. The Loretto is a Historic Building listed on the National and Kansas City Registries; therefore, we do not allow burning of candles. Please plan to use LED candles for your décor.

Yes. We encourage participation of all members of your family in your ceremony! However, there is a $200 pet damage deposit. Pets must be brought in no more than 1-hour prior to the ceremony and must leave within 1-hour post ceremony. This will allow you to capture images of your fur-babies in pictures pre- and post-ceremony. We suggest hiring a handler to deliver, maintain and remove your pet afterward and they must be either on a leash or kenneled at all times. Service animals with proper certification are allowed at any time and must be maintained according to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We have a large, private off street parking lot perfectly located on the southwest side of the available which are marked by sandwich board signs in front of each lot. In addition, after 6pm Monday-Friday, all on street public parking is available. All parking is free.
